Synopsis from Goodreads:
Fate takes a surprise swing when Vega contacts Remy and wants to talk. While she journeys to confront Vega, Remy runs into Bric Rayder, a Starfleet instructor she’s lusted after for years. It turns out that Jett and Bric know each other, and there’s more to the hunks than meets the eye…

My Review:
Atwood employs explicitly visual descriptions that leave nothing to the imagination while at the same time sending your imagination running wild. She also mixes an intense plot with an extremely sensual and evocative relationship. The danger & Alpha-maleness brought on by this intricate plot added to the story for me. This novella is definitely hot, steamy, and racy but I really appreciate the backstory that brings the characters into their own.
The characters themselves are out of this world (no pun intended, they were brilliant). Each was so unique, and seeing the way that they all came together was truly inspiring. Also, the fact that the characters had histories, both alone and together, made the story all the more powerful.
This was definitely another brilliant novella by Atwood. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone (18+ of course). I also can’t wait to see what she comes up with next. Perhaps another adventure with Adara, Jett, & Brick? I can’t get enough of these three.

This one sounds so good. Can't wait to read it. I love a good story line with lots of sexual tension. Thanks for a great giveaway.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the invite to the giveaway.book sounds great. Can't wait to read it.
ReplyDeleteI love to have a good story that gets me interested in my characters so when the intimacy is there, I feel like I am a part of what's going on. I want to see some form of struggle so that the intimacy/romance/sexual tension feels even stronger for me. That's a good book in place of a partner.
ReplyDeleteI love both. You need a good back story to become interested in the characters, but you also need that hot romance.
ReplyDeleteI love an awesome story with super hot scenes. :-D
ReplyDeleteI love a good story line with romance. =)
ReplyDeleteI love hot, sensual scenes but if the book doesn't have a good story to back it up, then it wont end up in my Favs list :) SO I guess I need both! Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteA good back story comes first for me. If the plot is captivating and I can connect with the characters, I can live with or without sensual scenes.
ReplyDeleteI actually prefer more of a story along with the sensuality. This book looks like a winner!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to read this. :)
