My Review:

This is one of those stories where you can guess the ending right from the beginning, but, as they say, the story is all in the journey, and what a journey this was. Knight takes her audience on a suspenseful, captivating journey that sparks your imagination. She combines the heat of forbidden romance with the possibility of many things while remaining firmly placed within the time period in question. This story also had me laughing out loud many times. Things would strike me as so real and possible and ridiculously like something that would happen to me and I couldn’t help myself.

This story was even more captivating and entertaining than the 1st novel in the series and I can’t wait to see what happens next and who the 3rd brother ends up with. It could be read as a standalone or as part of the series and I’d definitely recommend it to one and all (provided you enjoy historical romance, that is).
