My Review:

Childs definitely has a way with descriptions, bringing this world and her characters to life in vivid clarity. The plot was enjoyable. The way in which it was developed was easy to follow and suspenseful. There definitely was some times when I was rolling my eyes at the way the plot was moving or at the characters’ actions or reactions, but overall I did enjoy the story.

The mix of characters that Childs developed created a well-rounded feel to the story. I enjoyed the different types of people that I got to know and how they were presented.

This was an interesting, fun, quick read that would go well with a lazy afternoon.
