My Review:

Green’s voice always makes romance so much fun to read. I love how she draws readers in, immersing them in the lives of her characters. The relationship between her hero and heroine had me going from ‘oh, you didn’t…’ to giggling like a schoolgirl. It was a great balance to make the romance palpable and real. Her eloquent & inviting writing draws you deep into the fantastical yet completely realistic world that she’s created, providing the perfect backdrop for a heartfelt tale.

The sweetness of the heroine in this tale really drew me in. She wasn’t weak by any means, but she also wasn’t the ‘must be in charge always’ heroines that seem to be populating so many tales. She was just so real and loveable. She was the perfect match for the alpha hero that Green provides for us to drool over. Together they created a couple that I truly wanted to see succeed, despite (or perhaps because of) their differences.

Once again Green has created a romance that will make you swoon. Real characters and unique circumstances combine in the perfect manner in this once in a lifetime read.
