This 100 page story will tell you exactly how Gabe Rossi (yes, that Gabe Rossi, the legendary bad boy of The Guardian Angelino series) is picking up his life and moving to Florida to launch a covert operation in Barefoot Bay. This isn't his "love story" (that's coming soon, I promise!) but the novella is told completely from his point of view and will treat long-time fans to a few days with old friends (the Angelino and Rossi family! Uncle Nino!) and introduce a new world.

My Review:

What an enchanting novella! The banter between the family members really sets the tone for everything. I found the grandfather to be absolutely priceless. The way that he brought the entire family together really warmed my heart. I couldn’t believe how easy it was to imagine myself as part of this group.

But St. Claire didn’t stop there. Suspense and intrigue ruled as events unfold. She paints a picture that had me on the edge of my seat, creating intensity through actions and reactions. Her vivid descriptions brought Boston to life as vividly as they did a Florida beach.

This novella sets readers up well to dive into Gabe’s new venture in the first full length novel in the series, while also leaving some mystery and suspense to be unfolded at a later date. It gives readers who are new to St Claire’s work a fantastic starting point, while also tying this new series in with characters that we’ve already come to know and love.
