Co-owner of the town's only kennel, Lilah Young has lived in Sunshine, Idaho, all her life. Pilot-for-hire Brady Miller is just passing through. But he soon has Lilah abandoning her instincts and giving in to a primal desire.

It's Brady's nature to resist being tied down, but there's something about Lilah and her menagerie that keeps him coming back for more.

My Review:

What a story! Romance to melt your heart, enough chemistry to make the pages sizzle, and just enough suspense to keep you on your toes. Shalvis has got it all wrapped up in this one fantastic package.

Lilah and Brady were an absolutely fantastic couple to bring this tale forward. The way that Shalvis develops them so completely made me feel like I’d actually knew them. Lilah’s heart and soul poured from the pages of this novel. It was so easy to see how she fell for Brady. His strength and compassion vie with his doubt in himself and his emotions to create a wonderful, alpha-filled whole. Surrounded by their friends and family Shalvis has created an entire community for characters to fall in love with.

Shalvis has created a heartfelt novel full of wonderful descriptions that bring the plot forward in the perfect light. It was a one of a kind read that I couldn’t get enough of.
