Abby Stevens doesn't know what's gotten into her, but getting tangled up nightly with the latest bachelor to Buttermilk Falls has to stop. Sure, Brandon Swift's got rock hard abs and blue eyes to die for, but the Los Angles playboy is not the man for her. To end things between them once and for all, she might need some magical help.

Brandon is settling into small-town life thanks to his new bartending gig and the cute redhead sharing his bed. He suspects she might be looking for more than a fling. After a bitter divorce and a few months of playing the field, he might finally be ready, too.

But when Abby presents him with an enchanted cupcake that reverses his attraction to her, both discover strong feelings they didn't realize they had. Is it too late to reverse the spell?

My Review:

Neeley brings the magic of romance to life with sass and flair in this cute & comical tale. Her creativity & imagination shine through in an absolutely unforgettable way. The seamless and well thought out plot held me from cover to cover while inviting me in to the world that Neeley has created. I love how she gives readers insight into the happenings of the story that the characters themselves don’t have. Watching the action unfold through the solid yet endlessly priceless narrative creates a realistic yet completely magical romance that will stand up through the ages.

The characters in this novel definitely took the story to a whole new level. Neeley not only creates a pair of inviting and fun characters who are easy to connect with, she gives them an extra dash of something special that takes them into the realm of unforgettable. The situations that Abby finds herself in are made even more comical by the fact that they’re of her own making. Brandon’s caring mixes with his confusion at certain things to create a comical bent to a very attractive hero.

Neeley definitely gives Buttermilk Falls an extra twist with this one. My advice to you, if you haven’t read this novel (and the 1st Buttermilk story) DO SO! This is definitely a happy, romantic, unique novel from an author to watch.
