Mrs. Wilder snorted, her eyes turned bright with amusement. Her lips twisted in a smirk and a
small dimple showed on her right cheek. She appeared even younger when she smiled. “Sex is amazing when done correctly. Especially if he can figure out how to be all alpha and make your legs shake.”
Oh, damn! She choked on the cookie she’d taken a bite of, chocolate spewing from her lips with each cough. She picked up a napkin and tried to clear her throat. Mrs. Wilder was a freak.
My Review:
This is a decadently sinful story. I devoured it in a single sitting. This was a vividly graphic and all too real story that captures your heart and your mind. Her fantastic views on dating in the shifter world are one of a kind. The author made me laugh, she made my pulse race and my heart stutter, all the while, commenting on society and how we treat one another. Taiden works her literary magic to create a one-of-a-kind gem with this one.
The comical and inviting main character is easy to identify with. I felt like I really knew her, getting to know her past and what she wanted now and in the future. I appreciate that she is larger and is (usually) ok with it, and that she doesn’t magically become skinny when she mates with her shifter. This novella is all about being true to who you are, both inside and out. Now, the male lead is no slouch either. Taiden spends just as much time and effort developing him. The peeks at his past let readers know what his secret is, allowing you to have an inside scoop on the whole story. The main characters’ outrageous yet to the point statements not only make you giggle but make them seem extra real. Taiden developed the relationships between the main characters quite well, as well as the bear-shifter persona and all that went with it.
This novella is touching yet sexy as anything. It’s a quick, easy, steamy read easily savoured.

My Review:
What strong and individually appealing yet collectively awesome characters. Taiden introduces you to them in a manner that makes you feel as if you’ve always known them, allowing for great interpersonal interactions without dwelling on intricate character development and allowing the story to move forward at a rapid pace. I thoroughly appreciated the hidden, underlying message that these characters bring forth. Even if you feel that the rest of the world doesn’t appreciate you, there is always someone willing to stand for you and with you.
