My Review:

Fossen always hits the mark with her writing, but this novel went above and beyond that. She had me enthralled from the first page to the very last. This was a very multi-faceted story. Fossen brings romance, drama, suspense, and heartache together in this fantastic story. Her wonderfully creative imagination merges with the oh-so-real action of the story to create a story that will stand the test of time. 

The main characters in this novel were breathtaking, both individually and as a couple. Fossen develops them so fully that I felt like they were my neighbours (you know, the neighbours you actually like). Seeing them weigh what their families want with what they want (and need) for themselves. Their individual conflicts combine with the larger story to create something breathtaking. I also enjoyed the supporting cast. Although not developed in extreme depth, they were phenomenal individuals who made the story all the more real.

This was a remarkable addition to Fossen’s latest series. I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a romantic suspense.
